SD WAN

After design of your SD WAN architecture by our network engineers a detailed migration plan will be agreed.

SD-WAN devices will be shipped to each of your branch sites and connected to two or more local Internet lines. A secure connection to our nearest global Cloud backbone node will be automatically established.

The SD WAN device applies multiple traffic management capabilities such as active-active link usage, application- and user-aware QoS prioritization, dynamic path selection and packet duplication to work around link blackouts and brownouts. It can also route site-to-site traffic over MPLS and the Internet to address regional and application-specific requirements. 

Global Internet Access

IPknowledge provides all aspects of your connectivity needs so that you can enjoy a turn-key 'Network-as-a-Service'. Together with our local partners, Internet lines are offered in most countries worldwide. 

Supported 'last-mile' types include DIA (Direct Internet Access, mostly using fiber ethernet), Cable broadband, xDSL, 3G, 4G/LTE, with various possibilities for (non-) overbooking, up- and download speeds etc. 

For each of your global sites we carefully select and source the 'optimum' combination of Internet Service Providers and their offerings. For each of your branch locations two or even three Internet lines are selected and installed for both performance and robustness.  An outage of any individual access line can be sustained whilst the remaining access lines still deliver the minimum WAN throughput.

 

Rather than the traditional 'active-standby' mode of traditional (Telco) solutions, where half of the capacity is wasted, the Internet links are deployed simultaneously in 'active-active' mode. The 'combined' Internet connection provides enhanced speed, availability, flexibility and reach:

Global Private Backbone

What if you want to replace your global MPLS network altogether?

How to use the Internet for inter-continental communication? What if your in-country ISP lacks proper reach towards the (remote) Internet destinations that you need? 

 

To remove any so called  'mid-mile' transport issues, ONE-WAN provides the use of its global cloud-based backbone network: the ONE-WAN Cloud backbone. Accessed simply via the Internet lines connecting your branch sites, the ONE-WAN Cloud backbone performs 'mid-mile' transport of your application traffic streams, thus bypassing the the public Internet for the long haul. Your corporate traffic is subsequently dropped off at its destination. For instance, your Office 365 tenant in the Microsoft Azure cloud. ONE-WAN Cloud backbone design delivers end-to-end route optimization for WAN and cloud traffic, and a self-healing architecture for maximum service uptime.

Desktop and Mobile VPN

IPknowledge Cloud backbone delivers the full range of network and security capabilities to protect mobile users with laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Using a ONE-WAN Client or clientless browser access (SDP), your users connect to our nearest  PoP (Cloud backbone node). Mobile traffic is optimally routed over WAN backbone to on-premises or cloud applications.

Mobile traffic is fully inspected by our security stack ensuring enterprise-grade protection to users everywhere. Compromising on security or forcing a painful backhaul into a datacenter firewall is no longer a trade-off you need to make.

Firewall as a service

IPknowledge uses a full enterprise-grade network security stack natively built into its Cloud backbone to inspect all WAN and Internet traffic.

Security layers include an application-aware next-generation firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS), secure web gateway with URL filtering (SWG), standard and next-generation anti-malware (NGAV), and a managed IPS-as-a-Service (IPS).

 

IPknowledge can further secure your network with a comprehensive Managed Threat Detection and Response (MDR) service to detect compromised endpoints.

 

All layers scale to decrypt and inspect all your traffic, without the need for sizing, patching, or upgrading of appliances and other point solutions. Security policies and events are managed using your self-service Management Application.
